What can a school textbook teach you about forming a sound judgement?

David Nikolich, Managing Director of ABSTRACT, recently received a picture from a past delegate which made him smile. The photo was of their child’s school textbook. A series of colourful pictures detailed four simple steps for dealing with challenges, and finding effective solutions:

David was amused that the format echoed the Forming Sound Judgement & Decision Making module of ABSTRACT’s Critical Thinking series.

It was also a useful reminder to David that although ABSTRACT’s module is based on extensive academic research and interviews with corporate leaders, truly effective insights often have universal application well beyond the corporate environment.
